The audience in focus was those in the United States. The teams that followed were from the MLB and NFL. While discussions on the list began, fans were quick to express that the inclusion of some NFL teams on the list was shocking, to say the least.
Notably, the NBA, MLB, and the NFL are the most popular sports leagues in the United States of America. To no one’s surprise, teams from these major leagues dominated the list of top 10 favorite teams in the USA. When the NBA Central’s Twitter account released the list, NFL fans were left enraged. NFL Twitter in shambles after LeBron James and Stephen Curry lead popularity list
The NFL teams that made it to the list were Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cincinnati Bengals. For these fans, the inclusion of the Bengals was rather shocking. One fan stated that “Bengals Being Top 10 Is So Bogus”. Some were quick to claim that they have never met a Bengals fan or rather seen very few Bengal fans. Meanwhile, some fans also believed that the team was barely known by their state.
The bengals being top 10 is so bogus. There is no way that is true. Unless they somehow got a sleu of bandwagon fans.

The strong feelings toward the Bengals are warranted after the team’s two-decade-long struggle to perform well. Notably, the Bengals witnessed sudden popularity after they reached the Super Bowl in the 2021-22 season. Following the acquirement of LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, the Bengals’ fortunes changed. Supposedly, he carried the team to the Super Bowl.

The two most popular teams from the NBA were the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors. Despite having the stalwarts of LeBron James and Stephen Curry, these two teams have had a rocky start to the season. The Lakers have lost 10 games and won 2. While the Warriors have lost 8 and won 6. However, this did not stop their fans come out in numbers to support them in almost every single game.
Time and again, players have taken a moment to appreciate the fans. “That is what the NBA is all about, our fans are everything to us,” said Stephen Curry, earlier in the year.
