Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest during a routine tackle in the game between the Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals. Following this, Hamlin was rushed to the hospital where doctors noted that the NFL Star was in critical condition. As love and prayers poured in from all walks of life, Hamlin’s family, friends, fans, and the NFL brotherhood waited with bated breath for a miracle. Shaquille O’Neal was among the members of the sports community who prayed for the speedy recovery of the young star. However, at the same time, he also pointed out a disappointing social media trend that upset him while everything was transpiring.

Sports fans and the NFL community recently breathed a sigh of relief as the latest update on Hamlin’s condition read, “Damar’s breathing tube was removed overnight. He continues to progress remarkably in his recovery”. The doctors also mentioned that “his neurologic function remains intact”.
