Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson had an interesting segment recently on their podcast The Steam Room. Tim Kiely, the podcast’s executive producer, joined the duo for this segment. The focus was understandably mostly on Barkley. The concept of the segment revolved around how actor Chris Evans faired against Barkley’s list of man-crushes. While doing so, Barkley named his pick for the sexist man alive.

For the year 2022, People’s magazine named actor Chris Evans as the Sexiest Man Alive. With this in mind, Kiely presented him with a list of names that Barkley has man crushes over. One after the other, names from the list were presented to Barkley. Barkley’s task was simple. He had to choose between the names and the crowned champion Chris Evans.

Charles Barkley revealed once again that he has a huge man crush on 7-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady. In a tone of admiration, Barkley said, “Just Tom, he’s my man. He’s like Elvis. He can go by one name.”  He then narrated that Brady gave him a white watch. A watch that Barkley loves dearly. Previously, Barkley had also described Tom Brady as a pretty man.

Barkley was quick to point out that actor Idris Elba’s name was missing from the list. He stated that Elba was also the sexiest man alive. However, from the names Kiely read out, Barkley picked Brady to be the Sexiest Man Alive, even over Chris Evans.

The others on Barkley’s man-crush list were baseball star, Mike Trout, actor Charlie Hunnam, and members of the show Billions. When actor Denzel Washington’s name came up, Barkley stated that he was the “uncle everyone wants.”

Ernie chimed in with his opinion about Denzel. Considering his age, Ernie was of the opinion that Denzel could be the sexiest man alive in the senior category.

Next in line was actor Michael B Jordan. Barkley expressed that he is in awe of Jordan’s body. His reaction sent Johnson and Kiely into a fit of laughter. The segment ended with Ernie asking Barkley to voice out Brady’s name once again in a tone of admiration.
