And he does not go easy on any of them. Unsurprisingly, he even asked a former NFL player to go hard on his son after he underperformed in an AAU game.

Shaq has amassed a wealth of over $400 million. But when asked if his children get any share of it, he has said that until they prove themselves, they won’t. He wants his kid to be independent and not rely on their rich father. Shaq has said he will give them all the support in the world as long as they are standing on their own feet. And when his children mess up, Shaq also has some very strict punishments.

Spice asked Shaq and Turner what they should do if they travel for 5 hours for an AAU game and their son scores 3 points. Shaq said,” You tell him the same thing I used to say to my son. I know you didn’t make me waste money for this, like really. I got the planes, I got the rooms and this is how you playing”

And he wasn’t ready to listen to any excuses. He said that in this business we can’t point fingers at anybody else. It all depends on you. So sometimes, he didn’t even used to go to his son’s games.
