The NBA MVP award frontrunner Nikola Jokic has now given an exclusive interview after a long wait. During the interview with a media house, Jokic was asked about a variety of topics. When asked about the best players in the league, Nikola Jokic had a very interesting answer. He left out LeBron James while praising Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry. Here’s what he had to say.

Nikola Jokic talks about the best players in the league

Nikola Jokic won the MVP award last season and has been very good this season as well. The interviewer asked Nikola Jokic about the best players in the league. Jokic heaped massive praises for the two MVP frontrunners this season, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant. He left out a certain LeBron James which has triggered his fanbase.

Jokic answered,” For sure, it’s Steph Curry. I say that to pretty much everyone, if you don’t like watching him play, you probably don’t like watching basketball as a sport. He pulls up from such distances I feel like my shots wouldn’t even reach from that far away. Also, Durant, I feel like he’s the best offensive player in the league currently. You can’t really guard him. There are no players in the league who can guard him.”

Although LeBron James is not having the best of seasons, he is still one of the best players in the league. Durant and Curry are bagging phenomenal numbers this season and are in prime contention to win the NBA championship and the MVP award.

The race for the MVP season is on and two players are fighting it out for the prestigious title. These two players are Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry, arguably two of the best players in the league.

The two were a formidable force during their playing time in Golden State Warriors and have they won 2 championships together. The Brooklyn Nets and Golden State Warrior are comfortably sitting in a playoff spot.

Stephen Curry currently averages 27.7 points per game,5.3 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game this season. Durant, on the other hand, averages 29.9 points per game, 7.8 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game. While Durant has an edge over Curry and currently ranks number 1 in the leaderboard, the fight certainly isn’t over yet with the post-season yet to come.
