Thanks to a debate that has been going on for years now, LeBron James and Michael Jordan fans often reach a crossroads that often makes matters ugly. Who is the greatest of all time will probably remain an unanswered question for decades to come because of how subjective the topic is. It’s like picking sides in a war that gets brutal and that’s exactly what happened when one LeBron fan insinuated that Scottie Pippen carried Michael Jordan through the Chicago Bulls success.
Michael Jordan and LeBron James fans in a war of words
LeBron James struggled plenty during his initial years with the Cleveland Cavaliers to get the accolades everyone thought he was capable of. His potential was evident ever since he made it into the NBA. He even showed glimpses of it but they weren’t turning into championships. So, when he decided to switch teams and move to the Miami Heat, we saw a rise in hatred.

And after Bron started bagging championships with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, they became the league’s ‘Big Three’. But it was too late as Bron’s haters had only increased in number. As his comparisons with Jordan kept peaking, his critics kept on increasing.
Since then, LeBron has come very far. He has four NBA championships and so many unbeaten records under his name. But fans insist that Jordan’s six championships are enough to negate all of that. So, when a LeBron fan posted his stats without Wade, compared to MJ’s stats without Scottie Pippen, it didn’t look very good. So, Jordan fans decided to retaliate in the comments like writing, “No Wade. No Rings”.

Should either of them be blamed for getting help?
We all know championships can’t be won with a single superstar. Everyone needs a supporting cast that they can rely on. So this entire argument can be nullified because LeBron and Jordan, both needed and took the required help to get there. And neither should be blamed for doing it either.

It’s true that the LeBron James and Michael Jordan debate can never be settled but what everyone can agree on is that both of them are players that deserve credit for what they achieved. And that shouldn’t be ripped-off of them.
