There are very few players who have played both Michael Jordan and LeBron James in their careers. And there are fewer who have played them in their prime. But this Houston Rockets legend who has faced both admitted that his toughest challenge was when he faced the Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

Tracy McGrady is one of the few players who played both Jordan and LeBron in their primes. He faced Jordan in the last two years of his Chicago Bulls run and played against LeBron after he made his debut in 2003. Facing these two great must have been a challenge for McGrady. However, his toughest battle came up when he faced Kobe.

McGrady and Kobe had some historic battles, as they were two young stars who were desperate to take over the league. And both of them were assassins on the court. They were going up against each other with the intent of destroying the other person. And they gave it their all every time.

McGrady had high praise for Kobe and he even retweeted an old clip of the two legends and he said,” Nobody Challenged Me Quite Like Kobe”

McGrady was one of the first people who handed Kobe his embarrassing moment. He received the ball in the post and Kobe was guarding him. He then drove inside to the rim and hit Kobe with the dream shake. And this caught Kobe off-guard as he dropped to the floor.

But Kobe came right back in the next possession. He got the ball up the floor and McGrady was guarding him. He dribbled the ball a couple of times before blowing past him with his quickness. And he took off with his unreal athleticism and dunked on two players.

The two were friends from when they came into the league. But they wanted to get the better of each other and they went at each other every time. And Kobe admitted T-Mac was one of the toughest challenges he ever faced. T-Mac also seems to agree with that.
