The world is witnessing a final run of one of the greatest ever. Serena Williams, who has stated that she will retire soon, turned back the clock yesterday as she delivered a timeless classic in the second round of the US open. Moreover, several NBA players came out in support of the star as she overcame insane odds.
Serena played the second-seeded Anett Kontaveit, and the odds were stacked against her. After a disappointing comeback at Wimbledon, many expected Serena to play her last match. However, that wasn’t the case as she defeated the world number 2 Anett Kontaveit in the second round and advanced to the third round.

The NBA players were cheering on one of the greatest players of all time, possibly playing her last tournament.

The NBA stars were hyped to see Serena come out victorious. LeBron James posted a clip on his Instagram story, praising Serena and hilariously making goat noises and calling her the GOAT.
While Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry was just not ready to stop seeing Serena and he tweeted, “Not done yet @serenawilliams”.
