In addition to making headlines on and off the court, San Antonio Spurs rookie Jeremy Sochan is also well-known among fans for his stylish looks. However, his recent hair style created a buzz on the Internet as it reminded fans of someone else. With his new look, fans got a nostalgic glimpse of an NBA legend who contributed to many major trends in the game of basketball. The Chicago Bulls legend Dennis Rodman dominated the 90s with his style statements. Particularly when it came to choosing his hair color. Therefore, NBA fans had something to say when Sochan seemed to copy the Bulls legend’s iconic look.

Due his eccentric looks, Rodman caused a number of controversies and mayhem during that period. However, it seems like a similar event is also going on in the modern era of basketball. Sochan’s hair color received some pushback from a section of fans. In fact, he was taken to task by many Twitter users.

After his new hair color gained viral attention on social media, a video was posted by the NBA official handle on Twitter of Sochan showing his love for Mexico with his neon green hair. Several fans have drawn comparisons between his performance and abilities and that of Rodman.

One user commented, ”This gave me Dennis Rodman vibes”. “Sochan not good enough to pull off the Rodman hair,” proclaimed another user. His new hairstyle created quite a craze among many. In spite of all the hair talk, fans were eagerly waiting for him to perform on the court, particularly after the quad contusion.

During an interview, Sochan shared his experience joining the new team and how his dream came true. “Landing to an organization like this is a dream,” Sochan said in his statement. “Being in an organization where the Iceman, Tim Duncan, Tony, and Manu were in, it’s like a dream come true.“
