NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal played for various teams during his long and illustrious career. The Boston Celtics was his last team. The former Celtics star often comments on the current team’s performances. He often expresses his honest views and criticizes them openly.

Shaq also expressed his displeasure with Jayson Tatum’s performance during the Finals against the Golden State Warriors. Recently, Shaq shared a video of a player on his Instagram, claiming the guy is the only person that could save the Celtics.

Shaq shared a video of a Juancho Hernangomez, a Spanish basketball player who has been part of the NBA, and a new Netflix movie called Hustle. Juancho Hernangomez has actually played for the Celtics.

What is Hustle?

Hustle tells the story of Bo Cruz, who is a gifted international basketball prospect with NBA aspirations. Adam Sandler plays Stanley Sugerman, a scout for the Philadelphia 76ers, in the Netflix original movie. This has many people wondering whether Bo Cruz is a legitimate NBA player.

Although the major attraction of Hustle is Adam Sandler, Stanley’s story is entirely focused on the discovery of Bo Cruz and the challenging process of trying to get him selected by an NBA team.

Despite not being based on a true story, Hustle blurs the line between fiction and reality thanks to its actors. NBA stars from the present and the past make cameos throughout the film, delighting NBA fans from various eras.

Shaquille O’Neal and the Boston Celtics

‘The Big Diesel’ was one of the most dominant players during his time in the NBA. He was a force inside the paint, and would often bully defenders to get to the rim. He is a four-time NBA champion, thrice with the Lakers and once with the Miami Heat. However, one of his most forgettable stints in the NBA was with the Lakers’ bitter rivals, Boston Celtics.

Shaq joined the Celtics in 2010, after spending one year with the Cleveland Cavaliers. During the regular season, he averaged only 9.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. He struggled with injuries throughout the season, and couldn’t contribute in the playoffs as well. The Heat eliminated the Celtics in the second round, and Shaq ended up retiring from the game.

He is now an analyst and constantly talked about the performance of the Celtics during the playoffs and the finals. He also criticized Jayson Tatum for his underwhelming performances during the playoffs.

Tatum has been ridiculed a lot after his loss in the finals. A lot of experts backed Boston over the Warriors. Most of them felt betrayed by Tatum’s performance. It would be interesting to see how he reacts back to these reactions.
