Kevin Durant made an ultimatum to Brooklyn Nets’ owner Joe Tsai regarding his trade during their meeting. Apparently, Tsai has two options when it comes to Durant, either Durant or general manager, Sean Marks and coach Steve Nash.

Apparently, Durant is not looking forward to the direction the are headed in, according to The Athletic’s report. In the report, it was stated that he is not confident about the direction the team is going in the coming year.

It is becoming more difficult for the team to offer him a trade since he just signed a four-year, $198 million contract extension. In the wake of the meeting, Tsai took to Twitter to address this issue.

Many fans were shocked when he hinted at which side he was on. “Our front office and coaching staff have my support. We will make decisions in the best interest of the Brooklyn Nets.”

According to Shams Charania, the following reports have been made: “Nets have made clear privately that they will take every last asset from a team that trades for [Kevin] Durant.”

In particular, only a small number of teams can offer Durant this amount of capital after his trade request. According to reports that appeared, Boston Celtics’ supposed package centered around All-Star forward Jaylen Brown. Before this, however, reports indicated the Nets had rejected the Boston offer.
