The Brooklyn Nets’ winning streak was broken when the Chicago Bulls defeated the Nets on Wednesday night. However, it seems like the Nets are raring to get back on track as they defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 108-102 in the Friday night game. The Nets were leading by three points in the fourth quarter when Kyrie Irving made a successful three-pointer with just about 43 seconds remaining on the clock. This gave the Nets a six-point lead against the Pelicans, who lost their fifth home game against the Nets.

The 2016 NBA champion seemingly impressed fans with his performance while being in a clutch. Shortly after Irving helped the Nets make the six-point lead, fans took to Twitter to praise the 7x NBA All-Star.

The New Orleans Pelicans, 24-15, are currently not at their full strength following Zion Williamson’s injury. The Pelicans’ power forward is expected to be out for at least three weeks due to a right hamstring strain.
