NBA superstars LeBron James and Kyrie Irving formed a great partnership during their time with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The duo played three seasons together and won a title in 2016 before Irving left in 2017 to reportedly build his own legacy. However, that hasn’t worked out particularly well for the 31-year-old. James and the Los Angeles Lakers were keen on landing the eight-time All-Star after he demanded a trade from Brooklyn. But a deal could not be materialized, and Uncle Drew joined the Dallas Mavericks. Nonetheless, some fans and their former teammate still hope to see the duo team up again.

The duo has gone through various adversities ever since splitting in 2017. Some of Irving’s comments have even hurt James. Despite this, many expected a LeBron-Kyrie reunion in Los Angeles. The Nets owner apparently made sure that Irving didn’t get traded to LA, which eventually resulted in Kyrie landing in Texas. However, there is still a huge possibility of Irving reuniting with James next season. Former Cavs teammate Tristan Thompson recently talked about this.
