However, few compare to what Hanel Emmanuel is achieving in the basketball world. The Dominican basketball player is one of the best players in his class. But the major surprise is he has just one arm. Despite that, Emmanuel has shown no signs of quitting. Recently, the Dominican player revealed he models his game after Nets superstar, Kevin Durant.

Emmanuel Hansel is one of the most inspiring people in the sports world. A childhood accident took his arm away. However, he didn’t let his dream die. Hansel kept working and kept the hunger to become one of the best. With the power of social media, Hansel gained a lot of recognition as he made the impossible happen every step of the way. While speaking to Jalen Rose and Jacoby, Hansel revealed he likes everything about the Easy Money Sniper.

Another Kevin Durant in the making?

While speaking in with Jalen Rose, Hansel spoke about his life and how he developed into a beast on the basketball floor. In addition, he also said he is grateful to social media as it allowed the Dominican player to share his story and inspire millions of people to chase their dreams. But when the big question hit on which player he models himself after, Hansel gave an unsurprising reply.

He said: “KD I like him, I like everything he does I admire him a lot, I like his style and many other things.”

Hansel has sure picked up the dominance from Kevin Durant. Emmanuel is averaging 25.9 points, 11 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 3.4 blocks this season. In addition, he does all this while coming in at just 6 foot-4. Another thing Hansel shares in common with Durant is they both fought through to make the impossible happen. While Hansel came in from another country and had only one arm, Durant had little in his childhood.

Durant gave a detailed explanation of his childhood during his MVP speech in 2014. He thanked his mother for all the work she put into him to become the success he is. At an early age, his father abandoned the family and KD’s mother was left alone with 4 children. At 10 years old, Durant decided he would become a basketball player and Wanda made sure she would push her son in this direction. Since then, he has grown to be one of the best scorers to ever play, and has earned millions.
