The Cleveland Cavaliers have emerged as serious contenders this season. Notably, while their dominating run has been led by a young side, they’ve now pulled off yet another stellar move. Remarkably, they added Caris LeVert right as the trade deadline approaches. However, their new player had no idea of the trade and entered his old team’s locker room during their game.

The Cavaliers are a young side with not much experience on their side. However, they have still come up as big-time contenders and are taking the competition by storm. And it seems they are going all out as they added LeVert as well. Although, this trade came as a surprise to everyone, including LeVert himself.

LeVert found out being on the Cavaliers a little late

Just as the trade deadline approaches, teams are pulling off some last-minute moves to strengthen their organizations. For the Cavaliers, they added yet another young talent in Caris LeVert, sending Ricky Rubio and a few picks to acquire him from the Pacers.

However, he had no idea of the trade as LeVert sat in the Pacers locker room, talking to his new president of basketball operations. To no surprise, this made for some serious Twitter banter.

The Cavs have got a serious draw in LeVert. The young star proved his worth this season coming up big for the Pacers on several occasions. His scoring ability will be big and will fit perfectly with first-time All-Star, Darius Garland’s play style. Moreover, it will help relieve some pressure off the Cleveland veterans as well. However, in their recent game against LeVert’s former team, the veterans made all the difference.

While Garland remains out for the Cavaliers, they pulled out yet another win without him. However, the starters did not have the best day of scoring. Hence, the bench unit had to deliver. Kevin Love added 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists in the 98-85 win over the Pacers. Rajon Rondo also came up big, putting up 15 points and 12 assists while Osman added 22 points as well. The bench outscored the starters, who just couldn’t seem to get it going.

The Cavaliers now sit as the fourth seed in the competitive eastern conference with a record of 33-21. With Garland soon to return to the lineup, their offense will run a lot more smoothly. Moreover, they will have LeVert in their system who will take a good load of their offense.
