In a recent interview with Malika Andrews, Gordon was asked about his favorite Nikola Jokic story. He says, “He was the MVP and like he rolls up on his horse. He invited everybody over to the house to watch the play-in games. In the middle of the game, he’s like, AG, AG come here, come here. And he shows me like his riding helmets. You know it’s like one of the times I had seen him the most excited like throughout the whole season”.

NBA Finals Game 1 between the Nuggets and the Heat

In a commanding performance, the Denver Nuggets dominated the Miami Heat in game 1 of the NBA Finals, securing a 104-93 victory. Leading the charge for the Nuggets was their superstar Nikola Jokic, who achieved a remarkable 27-point triple-double, accompanied by 14 assists and 10 rebounds. On the other side, Jimmy Butler had a relatively subdued game, recording 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. However, Bam Adebayo emerged as a standout performer for the Miami Heat. He delivered an impressive performance with 26 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists. Adebayo received support from Haywood Highsmith and Gabe Vincent, who contributed 18 and 19 points, respectively, although it wasn’t enough to secure a victory for the Heat.
