Six-time NBA Champion Scottie Pippen and Larsa Pippen were married for around 23 years. In 2018, they filed for a divorce which was eventually finalized in 2021. Larsa Pippen is one of the stars of The Real Housewives of Miami. Naturally, starring in a reality show coupled with Scottie Pippen’s fame, the public acted as witness to their divorce.

The noise around this hasn’t faded away as the public is still invested in what’s next for the ex-couple. Amidst this, Larsa revealed, recently, that she sought advice from the world’s richest man.

Following her divorce, Larsa Pippen has been the center of attention for the media. Everyone wants to know who she’s with or what she is up to. While the curiosity spread across entertainment channels, Larsa spoke about her dating life on the ‘Behind the Velvet Rope’ podcast.

When it came to being attracted to men, Lara Pippen confessed to not having a type. For her, her partner needs to have a fun personality, and be easy-going and smart. According to Larsa, athletes are usually interested in her because of her fitness levels and for having been “in that (athletes) circle for so long.” 

Following this, she revealed that since her divorce, her Instagram inbox has been popping up with messages. The podcast host, David Yontef, then asked her if she had sent an Instagram message to anyone. Larsa confessed to hitting up Twitter CEO and Billionaire Elon Musk. She said, “The only person I have ever dm’ed was Elon Musk.”

However, the reason behind Larsa’s message was to seek his cryptocurrency advice. Supposedly, Larsa asked Musk if buying more Dogecoin was a good idea. Dogecoin is a cryptocurrency that Elon Musk has endorsed and promoted.

With that said, Larsa, unfortunately, didn’t receive a reply. However, she stated that she is going to wait for Musk to reply and wouldn’t delete the message.

Larsa Pippen opens up about her situation with Scottie Pippen

In an episode of the Real Housewives of Miami, Larsa revealed to her co-star Alexia Echevarria that Scottie Pippen was pushing her buttons. She stated that Scottie wanted to show her that he was still in control.

During the episode, Larsa stated that she wanted to sell their house in Miami. However, the seven-time NBA All-Star wasn’t happy with this. So, he had certain demands that had to be met. Larsa was tired of this. She said, “If he doesn’t get his way, he punishes me. He’s like The Punisher.” 

As Larsa tried to navigate through this new life, she believes that Scottie is jealous of her. The jealousy supposedly stems from Larsa moving on and dating others.

Alexia Echevarria had a word of advice for Larsa. Echevarria said, “She (Larsa) needs to cut that umbilical cord. She’s just too close to Scottie and the truth is no man that she ever dates is going to be okay with that. I don’t even think that’s good for Larsa.” Despite this, in another interview, Larsa claimed that she and Scottie are best friends.
