Athletes like Banchero must maintain their water levels during exercise to ensure that their bodies can continue working properly. Sweating helps cool the body down and remove toxins from the muscles, yet losing the weight of seven pounds in a game. Excessive sweating, however, can lead to dehydration if not managed correctly.

Paolo Banchero injury this Season

Banchero speaks to ESPN’s Holly Rowe after the cramps that were dealt this season. It was reported that recently he had undergone a sweat test performed by a doctor, and it uncovered the loss of seven pounds after every game was authentic.

Banchero, a 19-year-old is already topping the Duke’s scorer and rebounder lists with 18.3 and 7.3 respectively per game. He is a strong contender for a good bet to go number one in the 2022 NBA Draft, and he also has fantasy potential.

Players of such caliber must drink plenty of fluids before, during, and after games to stay hydrated. Many athletes also use sports drinks or other supplements to replenish electrolytes lost through sweat. Proper hydration is essential for maintaining peak performance on the court or field.
