Steph Curry is one of the most influential players that the NBA has ever seen. The man that started the three-point revolution is probably one of the greatest shooters to ever grace an NBA court. However, one doesn’t get that status without having a strong will and an incredible work-ethic.

Curry opened up about what makes him fearless while talking about his newest shoes. What Curry said provides a good insight into what makes him operate the way that he does and where he draws his unbelievable confidence from.

“It’s part of the DNA. It kind of manifests itself, you know, on and off the court. But it comes with the work that you put in and the people that you are around.

“The power and the team that I get to work with and understanding that we’re trying to be great in everything that we do. It’s okay to take chances and risks, kind of push the envelope a little bit. Be in a situation where you’re driving the conversation as opposed to following. For me, that’s always been a part of my DNA, on and off the court.”

Steph Curry is a first-ballot Hall of Famer and already a legend in the NBA. Players that are entering the league right now have modeled their game around the free-shooting Curry style. Onetime all-star Trae Young is a perfect embodiment of the movement that Curry started for shooters.

However, Steph has made his name in the NBA world without having conventional athletic gifts. He started his career as an injury-prone two-guard who couldn’t do much besides shoot. However, he has developed a polished game that has helped him win two MVPs, three titles, and the status as the greatest shooter in NBA history.
