Interestingly enough, his eldest son, Jeffrey talked about this during an interview from over a decade ago. Jeffrey tried his hands at basketball and whenever Jordan turned up to the games, all the attention was on him.

When the interviewer asked about MJ’s opinion on the unwarranted attention, he said, “I don’t show as much reaction as other parents when I’m inside.”

Moreover, Jeffrey said that his father’s fame actually helps him during the game. The reason being? All the eyes are on Jordan and he can concentrate on the game.

Jeffrey said, “You know when he’s there, it kinda helps me a little bit coz I know people aren’t watching me so much. So, it’s not too bad.
