Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns had the best record in this regular season. Booker and Chris Paul were often on song together. CP3 did miss some game time due to injuries but whenever he returned, he returned strong.
While his performances were not always the best, surely he was influential in the grandstand finish the Phoenix Suns had to their regular season.
However, they could not dominate the playoffs as they did in the regular season. Their win against the New Orleans Pelicans was also not as smooth or easy as they would have hoped and wanted.

The Pelicans, who were the 8th seed and had to qualify for the playoffs through playing, tied the game series twice before the Suns finally beat them 4-2. The story was a lot different against the Dallas Mavericks.
The conference semifinals went the deepest. The Mavericks forced Game 7 after being down 2-0 after the first two games and then being 3-2 behind after Game 5.

Devin Booker receives heavy Twitter backslash
