However, his off-court activities often invited criticism from the media and the fans alike. Jordan once famously visited a court in order to testify for an infamous gambler.

This happened after Jordan joined forces with other NBA superstars to bring Olympic glory back home. MJ, Scottie Pippen, Larry Bird, and other stars were part of the 1992 USA Dream Team who won gold at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992.

Interestingly enough, the person who was testified by MJ spent a long time in prison. During an interview, he talked about his experiences in prison and other things. Moreover, James “Slim” Bouler talked about how MJ disrespected him once.
Michael Jordan roasted his infamous gambler friend
Michael Jordan is one of the biggest superstars the world has ever seen. He was a global phenomenon during his time in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls.
However, some habits like Jordan’s love for gambling invited a lot of hate. For instance, during the Eastern Conference Finals between the New York Knicks, Jordan was found to be partying.

Moreover, Jordan’s involvement with James “Slim” Bouler made headlines all over the world. Bouler was sent to prison for being involved in money laundering and other charges.
During an interview, Bouler talked about how MJ roasted him once. He was rocking some Jheri Curls which caught the eye of the 6 time NBA champion.

Bouler said, “We never had a dull moment. Well, one time, I had a Jheri curl if you look at the episode of ‘The Last Dance’. My hair was long, I was sitting on Michael’s chair, Jordan walked over and said, ‘Old man, if you put any of that Jherico grease on my chair, then me and you gonna get it on.'”
