Shaquille O’Neal is as popular for his Herculean stature as he is for his dominance on the basketball court. ‘The Big Diesel’ generally towers over everybody standing next to him. However, this recently resurfaced picture makes even Shaquille O’Neal look short.

The man in the picture below is an actor and model, Calvin Lane. Despite being in a bunch of movies and TV shows, Lane is famous for his gigantic stature.

Standing at a whopping 7’6″ tall, the 51-year-old is undoubtedly one of the tallest human beings alive.

This resurfaced photo from the past makes Shaquille O’Neal look incredibly short. In the picture, a 7’1″ Shaq seems almost uncomfortable standing next to a 7’6″ Lane.

It is not every day that you get to see somebody towering over the Lakers legend. Therefore, the situation must have been as surreal to him as the photo is to his fans.

Meanwhile, Lane showered Shaq with adulations when asked about the photo in a television promo. “My buddy Shaquille-yes“, he said. “But Shaquille is the man. I got nothing bad to say about Shaq.”

As it turns out, Calvin Lane has a good five inches height difference from Shaquille O’Neal. He is also about 120 lbs heavier than the four-time NBA champion.

Moreover, he has also starred in TV shows like Walker, Texas Ranger (1995), and Going to California(2002). Apparently, Lane is not the tallest person in the family. In fact, he has a brother who is 7’9″ inches tall. On the other hand, their father has a height of 7’8″.
