After signing the contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, Russell Westbrook had the best Tuesday ever. Although the Lakers had a disappointing season in the 2022 NBA championship, the franchise decided to select Westbrook for the upcoming season.

Former NBA All-Star was seen celebrating with Kevin Hart in Los Angeles after making a $47 million decision. Following this meeting, the picture has gone viral on social media and fans have been very vocal on Twitter and Instagram. 

Many have backed him while others are still doubting and awaiting the season to see how he performs. Westbrook opted into the final year of his contract with the Lakers, keeping him in LA for at least another year.

To celebrate his good fortune, Westbrook grabbed dinner at LAVO Ristorante, an elegant West Hollywood restaurant. Although he didn’t say a word at that moment, Russell’s excitement was clearly visible on his face.

Any time soon it will be confirmed that he will stay in LA as reported. And everyone knows how bad the season was with the Lakers not even making the playoffs. There are indications, however, that Westbrook is going to make some changes in the upcoming NBA championship season of 2022-23. He appears very dedicated to the team and it seems that we will see some changes in the Lakers team as well next season. 

Russell Westbrook is expected to make a comeback with the Los Angeles Lakers

In a recent video, Westbrook sang a section of Beyonce’s song ‘Break My Soul’. In the car, he said, “You won’t break my soul”, before the start of last season when he was drafted to the Lakers. 

There are indications that he will change his performance this time around. Apart from this, Hart and Russ have a very close relationship. And this is not the first time they have celebrated something together.
