Despite having the experience of holding talks at an internal level, former prisoner Billy Hayes feels Rodman will have trouble with Putin. Talking in an interview, Hayes said, “I don’t think you are going to be able to handle Vladimir Putin the way he did with Kim Jong Un. I think it’s just going to add to Brittney’s problems and the logistics of trying to bring her home.

Phoenix Mercury star Brittney Griner has spent a long time in Russian prison already. Earlier this year, she was arrested by Russian officials on charges of carrying illegal substances. Subsequently, this led to a long legal process and the court recently announced its verdict. Griner was sentenced to 9 years in prison following her conviction.

Reports claim Dennis Rodman is not going to help Brittney Griner

Despite Rodman’s claims about him going to Russia to help out Griner, it seems the former NBA champion has taken back his words. According to the latest reports, Rodman will not be going to Russia.

This came after officials cautioned Dennis regarding his actions and also asserted that his trip will not be on behalf of the Government. Now this leaves Brittney Griner with two options. Either she faces jail time in Russia or the Government brings her back through a prisoner swap.
