Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant was suspended from all team activities recently, due to his actions on social media. Morant, who had earlier served an eight-game suspension in March for flashing a gun on Instagram certainly did not learn his lesson the first time. Recently, the authorities rushed to the two-time All-Star’s residence after his alarming update on his social media created a scare for his welfare.

Morant managed to scare his fans with his most recent social media update. This forced the police to get involved in order to assure his well-being, as per reports by TMZ Sports.

Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies finished the season as the second-best team in the Western Conference. Unfortunately, the team’s championship hopes were quickly brought to a halt after they suffered a first-round elimination at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Given that the Memphis Grizzlies were knocked out early from the playoffs, the team and its players had enough time on their hands to enjoy the offseason and kick it back. However, Ja Morant found himself at the bitter end of criticism once again.

Morant was seen brandishing a firearm on Instagram Live after he was suspended for doing the same just months ago. The Grizzlies’ star point guard has said very little since the second gun incident made news across the nation.

Only hours ago, Morant went to his official Instagram account to share pictures with his mother, father, and daughter, expressing love. In the end, he posted another picture with the caption, “Bye,” raising concern among fans and even the authorities.

The police rushed to Morant’s residence in Tennessee, only to find out that the 6’3 point guard is planning to take a break from social media.

The police found out that there is no threat to his well-being, as one representative from the County Sheriff’s Office of Shelby said, “He is fine.

The majority of fans were quickly alarmed after Ja Morant’s social media update. So, it surely was a relief to know that the 2020 Rookie of the Year was not in any imminent danger as he looks to focus on working on himself.
