Police Officer Shaquille O’Neal Put Up Thousands of Dollars to Catch a Gun Violence Suspect on the Run in Georgia

There is no denying Shaquille O’Neal is a man of many talents. Apart from having one of the best NBA careers one can think of, the 7-foot-1-inch giant has left his mark elsewhere.

While most of the fans might be acquainted with Shaq’s career as an analyst, he is also a businessman, philanthropist, DJ, and police officer!

Yes, you heard that right. Shaq is a registered cop. Moreover, he does not need a badge to commit himself to the police.

After an unfortunate event that took the life of a cop in late 2021, Shaq stepped in to help. He offered a huge reward for anyone who would help the police in order to catch the absconded shooter.

Interestingly enough, he was sworn in as a reserve officer with the Miami beach in 2005. What’s interesting is that he signed a contract with an annual salary of only $1 dollar! (Source: Bleacher Report)

Interestingly enough, Shaquille O’Neal serves as the director of community relations in the sheriff’s office. Despite his superstar status, nothing has come easy for Shaq.

He went through the standard procedure of becoming a cop. According to sources, he applied to become a Doral Reserve Officer. Furthermore, the city spokesperson stressed the fact that Shaq needs to go through all the standard procedures.

After passing all his tests, O’Neal finally achieved his long-term dream of becoming a cop.
