NBA legend Michael Jordan loves golf. Other than basketball and a little bit of baseball, MJ spent most of his free time playing golf. Furthermore, given his competitive nature, he would always strive to win, which also meant, the trash talk was never out of the equation. One would think that he would tone it down while playing golf as most of his partners are famous and important personalities such as Bill Clinton, Tiger Woods, and Barack Obama. The most recent celebrity to play with His Airness is actor/comedian Chris Tucker and he has got some big news to share with fans.

The Rush Hour fame actor recently posted several pictures from his time at MJ’s golf course on his Instagram page. He dropped three photos, one with Air Jordan, the other with former POTUS Bill Clinton, and lastly, one with entrepreneur Bob Johnson. However, it was the caption that grabbed the fans’ attention.

“Had a great time playing golf at Micheal Jordan?s golf course. Looking forward to the movie I?m in that?s coming out about Micheal Jordan?s Life,” wrote Tucker.

In June 2022, it was announced that a film on the partnership between the Chicago Bulls legend and the Nike brand was in development. The movie will be directed by Batman fame Ben Affleck and has a rather impressive cast.

The untitled Ben Affleck-directed movie is said to be based on the Nike executive Sonny Vaccaro and the brand’s multibillion-dollar endorsement deal with Michael Jordan. Back in the 80s, Nike was not as hyped as it is now so a contract with the leading sportsman was a great deal. The movie will show how Vaccaro and Nike co-founder Phil Knight’s relentless pursuit in convincing His Airness to sign the contract that turned out to be a historic deal.

Hollywood actor Matt Damon will be portraying Vaccaro, whereas, Affleck will play the part of Knight. The movie’s extended cast includes Chris Tucker, Viola Davis, Marlon Wayans, Jason Bateman, and others. However, the character of MJ will remain a mythic figure in the movie and will not be seen.
