Prank Call to LeBron James, Mocking PJ Tucker and Other Moments That Qualify Giannis Antetokounmpo as a Comedian

Giannis Antetokounmpo and his comic timing is as good as the time he takes to shoot a free throw, that is, a lot. The Freak, with his Greek English, is a prankster at his best and a hysterical dancer at his worst. He showed the glimpse of all those non-basketball skills after winning his maiden title in Milwaukee.
He mimicked LeBron James (from 2016 NBA Finals) when he hilariously yelled, “Milwaukee, this is for you” holding his trophy. The man is a great leader on the court and a certified (via fans) stand-up comedian off it. The several noteworthy crazy moments from his career prove it.

The funniest Giannis Antetokounmpo moment with PJ Tucker
The world has seen how Giannis is so funny during the All-Star games when he is mic’d up. But the same goes true with his interviews where he always has a surprising thing to add. Recently, he was addressing the media after the Game 6 win over the Suns when he stopped a passing PJ Tucker.
The 26-YO questioned PJ about his diamond-studded shoes and yelled, “Hey bring your shoes. This guy today, he bought a $250,000 pair of shoes. He had real diamonds, I promise you… basically a house in your feet. Let me get them too.”

That rookie year prank call to LeBron James
Do not mistake that Giannis gained all this confidence after spending seven years in the league. In fact, he was quite a sport in his rookie year itself. In one of the videos from back then, four stars in Elfrid Payton, Marcus Smart, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Giannis went for a sleepover where they prank called King James.
Take a look at the entire video where Giannis had to cut the call in fear of Bron actually answering his silly question, “Is your refrigerator running?”.

When the Freak revealed his flirtatious self
To begin with, Giannis Antetokounmpo publicly revealed his astonished and lovestruck self back in Feb 2020. The occasion was Super Bowl LIV with the duo of Jennifer Lopez and Shakira performing a song in the halftime show. That performance caught the Greek off-guard as he tweeted –
Halftime show almost got me in trouble😂
— Giannis Ugo Antetokounmpo (@Giannis_An34) February 3, 2020
Now, that was just the beginning of his subtle flirting. He again tweeted a sarcastic and pun-intended post a year later where he demanded for the duo against the Canadian singer The Weeknd.
I heard Shakira and JLo are not performing because it’s The Weekend…they don’t work on Sunday?

Well, if all of this had the American readers laughing out loud, his next tweet might get them unsettled. This was from when the Milwaukee hero tried the corndogs for the very first time and noticed one of the lollipops was chopped in half.
