Former Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade’s ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches-Wade has made some serious accusations about her former husband. She recently filed an objection to Wade’s petition for recognition of their transgender daughter Zaya’s gender change and issuance of a new birth certificate. However, Funches-Wade has objected to the legal petition. She claimed that Zaya was being financially pressured to make such a big decision about her sexuality.
The 15-year-old Zaya is not an adult yet. Hence, she would require a court order and permission from her parents for the changes to be made. In the recently surfaced court documents, Dwyane Wade‘s ex-wife has claimed that the three-time NBA champ was in a position to profit from their minor child’s gender and name changes. The 41-year-old stated that many companies were interested in Zaya’s situation. She cited opportunities for contracts and endorsements that could have incentivized the move.
