Professional golfer Keegan Bradley just relayed a fun Michael Jordan story. The PGA Tour champion recently appeared on the Bob Does Sports podcast episode. During the chat session, he talked about the time he played a game of pick-up basketball with the NBA legend. Joining them was NFL star Tom Brady who played on the same team as MJ. While this was a friendly game, Bradley recalled that he still ended up getting intimidated by Brady and Jordan. The podcast episode was released on October 5, 2022.

Halfway through the conversations, one of the hosts asked Keegan Bradley to tell the story about the basketball game. Bradley had apparently gone to the Bahamas with fellow golfer Luke Donald in 2015. Coincidentally, former Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan and Tampa Bay Buccaneers superstar Tom Brady too felt the? Bahamas would be the right destination for a vacation. However, all of them were unaware of one another being present at the same place. MJ eventually got together with Bradley and Donald for a game of golf after running into each other.

Not wanting to play golf anymore, Bradley and Donald suggested that they shoot some hoops instead. While MJ eventually agreed, he stated that he wouldn’t take his basketball shoes along. As they get started in the court, they run into Tom Brady who joins them too. That’s when things started to get interesting.

After getting together, the star players then play a 21 game. However, halfway through, Michael Jordan apparently asked someone to bring his basketball shoes, a clear indication of his competitive nature coming forth. Jordan, Tom Brady, and Keegan Bradley then decided to play a pickup game. Interestingly, Brady and Jordan played together as teammates, whereas Bradley and Donald played as their opponents.

“I had to guard Tom Brady and he was going so hard. I’m like, I don’t want to hurt myself because like, my life. And I’m thinking, if I hurt Tom Brady, I’m never moving to go home the rest of my life,” said Bradley.

Furthermore, Bradley said that while he considered himself a pretty good basketball player, but Brady was playing too hard. At one point, he actually had to ask the NFL star to slow down, because he didn’t want to hurt himself or him.

And when you’ve got a bunch of sports stars getting together, you are bound to attract a crowd. Evidently, it didn’t take long for the video to go viral.
