Proud Father LeBron James Sends A Wholesome Message To Millionaire Son On Getting Set To Play In New York

LeBron James has created a long-lasting legacy for himself. It’s very strange for people to know that James also has an almost adult age kid playing high school basketball. Bronny, too, is following in his father’s footsteps. He has been on the radar of many college teams. He is also at the cusp of a great career. LeBron is openly proud of his son and his achievements on the court.

So, in accordance with that statement, he posted a story on Instagram linking a post to his son, Bronny playing for the SFG (Strive For Greatness) team in New York. His caption states, ” Yessir!! The Big Apple. Let’s Rock“. Bronny has been excelling in high school basketball, not unlike his father. LeBron has stated before that before he retires, he would like to play alongside his son in the NBA.

Bronny, for now, is limited to playing high school basketball. His career might just bloom like his father if his development goes well. LeBron and Bronny both were high valued high school prospects. Unlike LeBron though, Bronny is going to get drafted to a NBA team at the age of 18.

He has been plying his trade for Sierra Canyon High School. In 2015, James had already scholarships and offers from various colleges. The most widely reported ones are  Kentucky, Duke, Kansas, North Carolina, and UCLA, with Kentucky being the only school that has made a scholarship offer. Of course, LeBron forbade a ten year old having scholarships.

The Sierra Canyon school  team was considered one of the best in the high school circuit. It had Ziare Williams, who now plays for the Memphis Grizzlies. Bronny was ranked in the 20’s during freshman year but dropped to 52 during junior year. ESPN moved him up from 49 to 43. He, also, was ranked the best player in the class of 2023, while in middle school.

Unlike his father LeBron, he is a point guard/ shooting guard. He has great handles and passing range for a kid his age. He, also, has a  “smooth shooting stroke” . Scouts have noted that he has a feel for the game and his poise will help him a lot later.

Will Bronny become as great as his father? Only time can tell but for now, LeBron is a proud father of his brilliant son.
