Kim Kardashian supports her friend LaLa Anthony in her latest venture
There are not many people in the world who are close to the Kardashians. LaLa happens to be one as she is a ‘sister’ and the best friend of Kim Kardashian. She has made numerous appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians which shot up her popularity.
Recently, LaLa was seen in the movie ‘You People’ released on Netflix. Taking to Instagram, Kim posted a screenshot that shows a scene involving Anthony. She wrote, “Couldn’t be more proud! I can’t wait to watch it tonight.” Popular Hollywood actors Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy star in major roles alongside some other distinguished names.

Not only LaLa, but even Khadijah Haqq is also in the movie. Much like Carmelo Anthony’s ex-wife, Haqq is close to the Kardashian family. She is a good friend of Khloe Kardashian as they know each other since childhood.

Carmelo Anthony and LaLa started dating when they were just 19. Back then, the former Los Angeles Lakers star was still a basketball prodigy who had just made his NBA debut. After dating for a while, the two tied the knot in 2010 after getting engaged in 2004. After multiple cheating scandals, their relationship ended in 2021 and LaLa talked about their relationship during an interview.
She said, “I started off really young in my relationship. And maybe would have tried to took my time a bit more and learned more about love and partnership and marriage.” It seems LaLa is done with the idea of marriage once and for all after her heartbreak with Melo. In the same interview, she asserted that she isn’t getting married ever again.
