“Pure Evil” Charles Barkley Called “Depraved” by Skip Bayless’ Wife for Threatening to Kill Her Husband

The alleged hate from Charles Barkley towards Skip Bayless has finally reached its peak. Skip Bayless finally talked about the constant mockery, jokes, roasts, and sometimes over-the-top defaming from Barkley. This is nothing new. This alleged onslaught has kept on going for around 15 years now. Most times it is just Barkley randomly roasting Bayless.

Now fans, people around Barkley, colleagues, and hosts of several shows find these roasts funny and seem to enjoy the banter. But it was apparently high time for Skip Bayless. However, more than Skip himself, this banter has upset his wife, Ernestine Sclafani.

Skip Bayless’ wife bashes out at Charles Barkley

It is all fun and games while someone roasts the other person until someone involved is seriously bothered, hurt, and upset in the process. This is what has happened with Barkley constantly roasting Bayless.

On the Skip Bayless show, he confessed that he never took all this too seriously because of the manner it was said in. The things Barkley said and the reactions of people around made it a laughable roast and banter. But it finally affected Skip Bayless’ wife and he couldn’t stop himself from talking about it.

He broke his silence, “My wife, Ernestine, has believed for 15 years that Charles Barkley is nothing but a sick individual. [She believes] That to her he is just pure evil. That he is depraved. That he is a scumbag. And she believes or fears that one day Charles will somehow, maybe unwittingly or maybe wittingly, inspire some other nut to end my life.”

“And this haunts her. This hurts her because she believes that in the end, Charles Barkley would have my blood on his hands. And if that were Charles’s goal from the start, if that was his goal, then I congratulate him because he wins on this one. He has hurt my wife deeply, and she has lost much sleep over this,” he added.

He continued telling about way back in 2010 when he tried to control the constant defaming by talking to the superiors of Charles at the time, “I said look I don’t care about any of the other criticism he can rip, he can slash, he can say whatever he wants. Just for Ernestine’s sake could he please stop using the k-word, please no more kill.”

He continued, “I warned her this will probably just fuel his fire, and I was right about that because after the request was made by John Wildhack to David Levy, it seemed to my ear that Charles only intensified his use of the k-word when talking about me.”

Skip has made abundantly clear that he never took any of the roasting and mockery seriously. Even after the constant usage of the word “kill”, he never publicly spoke about all this. He knew that it wouldn’t do him any good, even if he opened up about it.

“This 15-year onslaught has amazed me, it has amused me, but it has always confounded me because for the life of me, I have no idea why exactly Charles wants to [hurt] me… I don’t know Charles Barkley. I’ve never had a single conversation with Charles Barkley,” said Skip.

He also talked about how he thinks Barkley was jealous of him. According to him, he angers him and Barkley wishes he had thought of things that Skipp talks about on TV.

It is possible that everyone has turned their attention on all this recently after Skip Bayless criticized LeBron James and Aaron Rodgers. And Charles Barkley took the opportunity of getting back on the track of his age-old jokes and roasts. However, Skip praises the objectivity of Charles when it comes to LeBron. He says their objectivity is the good thing common between the two.
