LeBron James seems to be having a relaxing time now. June is a month where LeBron is usually busy with basketball, but this time around, his season ended in April. And the 18-time all-star seems to be having fun, and he was in awe of the Stanley Cup which was on display before the 2022 Stanley Cup Finals.

LeBron’s season ended in April after his team, the Los Angeles Lakers failed to make the postseason. In his 19-year career, this has happened only 4 times, and this is the second time in 4 years. James has made the Finals 10 times in his career and he generally has deep post-season runs. So it’s rare to see him on vacation so early.

But LeBron is having fun in a different way. Instead of going on vacation overseas, The King is in the country itself and he has been glued to the NBA playoffs. He was also present in the UCL Finals and now he is also watching hockey. And he was floored when he saw the Stanley Cup.

In an episode of The Shop, the Lakers star was in awe when saw the Stanley Cup, and he even touched the cup. The Stanley Cup is the trophy given to the NHL playoff champion.

What’s next for LeBron next season?

Despite LeBron having a historic season, that wasn’t enough for the Lakers to reach the playoffs. The experiment was a massive failure, and the Lakers fired their head coach, Frank Vogel, at the end of the season.

With a new coach incoming in Darvin Ham, James seems to be excited. He has welcomed the coach and is ready for the upcoming challenge. But the Lakers will need to undergo a massive transformation to have a shot at the title next season. And with LeBron’s contract expiring at the end of the next season, they will need to show The King that they can be a contender.
