The Houston Rockets and the Memphis Grizzlies of the Western Conference faced each other on 21 October 2022 at the Toyota Center. It was indeed a treat for NBA fans to watch the duel between the Rockets’ Jalen Green and the Grizzlies’ Ja Morant. The two NBA stars gave quite a performance on the court on Friday night. However, despite Green’s impressive score, the Rockets failed to defeat the Grizzlies, who won the game by 129-122.

The Rockets had a significant lead, scoring 32-26 in just the first half. That didn’t keep on for long though as the Grizzlies beat their opponents by three points in the third quarter. NBA All-Star Ja Morant scored 19 points by then. And by the fourth quarter, they managed to sprint past the Rockets by 34-33.

Additionally, he secured 5 three-pointers as he led the Grizzlies to victory. Fellow teammate John Konchar helped secure the win by scoring 17 points and 5 rebounds. Whereas, Desmond Bane managed 14 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds.

While Morant’s high score is worth celebrating for Grizzlies’ fans, it was Jalen Green who was more hyped despite his team’s loss.

There is no doubt that the Houston Rockets presented themselves as a difficult opponent for the Memphis Grizzles. It is evident when you take a good look at their scoreboard. Jalen Green was the highest scorer with 33 points, 2 assists, and 5 rebounds. Assisting him was Alperen Sengun with 23 points, 1 assist, and 12 rebounds. Additionally, Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr. averaged 18 points, 4 assists, and 5 rebounds.
