Rapper Machine Gun Kelly Got Bashed By NBA Fans During Intense LeBron James vs Kevin Durant Match-Up

During this year’s All-Star weekend, LeBron James and Kevin Durant captained their respective teams. Team LeBron and Team Durant squared up and Team LeBron won the game with a scoreline of 163-160 after the completion of four entertaining quarters. 

The All-Star Game is an event where the fans could see all the NBA stars on the same court playing together and against each other. But it is also a great opportunity for the fans to see a lot of the celebrities who are in attendance at the game. 

And the league started the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in the 2002-03 season to make things interesting. This helped the fans witness some of their favorite celebrities play basketball. Some big names like Justin Bieber, Kevin Hart, and Ice Cube have played in the All-Star Celebrity games in the past.

Like every All-Star weekend, the stars aligned in Cleveland this year to witness the NBA stars. In attendance was rapper Machine Gun Kelly, who grew up in Cleveland. And before the All-Star game, he was given the chance to announce Team Durant. 

But he tried his hands on some jokes during the announcement. But the reception of his jokes wasn’t great from the crowd of Cleveland. After a few unsuccessful jokes, he handed it over to DJ D-Nice.

And fans took to Twitter to show their disappointment in giving MGK the chance to announce during the All-Star game.

He also participated in the All-Star celebrity game alongside rapper Quavo and other celebrities for Team Walton. And Team Walton won the game against Team Nique with a scoreline of 65-51.

LeBron James and Kevin Durant had a season to forget this time around. While James had a spectacular as an individual, his Lakers team couldn’t seal a playoff spot. Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets had their own issues during the season.

They had to find a trade route for the want-away star, James Harden. The Nets also faced issues with the availability of Kyrie Irving due to stringent Covid-19 protocols. They traded James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers and received Ben Simmons and others. Ben Simmons didn’t play in the regular season.

But Durant and the Nets managed to seal the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference. And they faced 3rd seeded Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs.

Durant and the Nets had a hard time competing against Jayson Tatum and the Celtics. And the Celtics swept the Nets comfortably at the end. And Kevin Durant had an awful series by his standards and didn’t look like his usual self.
