Wardell Stephen Curry 2 is one of the most influential players of all time. Since joining the NBA in 2009, his style has changed how the game of basketball is played today. As a three-time NBA champion and a two-time MVP, he has proved to be one of the best players in the league over the years. The current season has also gone well for him and the Warriors currently sit in third place in the western conference thanks to his performances.

Throughout all these years, we have seen Curry play his best on the NBA court. However, his love for the game just didn’t come some time ago. Stephen’s father, Dell Curry, was also a professional basketball player and played in the NBA. His father started his career in 1986 and played for franchises like Utah Jazz, Cleveland Cavaliers, Charlotte Hornets, Milwaukee Bucks, and Toronto Raptors.

He retired from the sport in 2002.

Despite playing the game actively at the age of 6 or 7, Stephen has seen this game from the beginning. The father of the Warriors star said,I guess we started him, probably when he was 6 or 7, in a rec league. He had been around it his whole life, obviously, with me playing in the NBA, so it was nothing new to him.”
