After two blowout victories and a close one after OT in the third game, the Philadelphia 76ers were 3-0 up in the 7-game series in the first round of the playoffs against the Toronto Raptors. However, they are under pressure now. The Raptors seem to have found their momentum and won the next two games, and the series is now 3-2. Still in 76ers? favor but the Raptors will feel confident that Joel Embiid and James Harden?s side are feeling the pressure mounting on them.

The Raptors won game 4 and game 5 rather convincingly. Game 4 went 110-102 in the favor of the Raptors. Whereas game 5 was a blowout victory and rather embarrassing for the Philadelphia 76ers in front of their home crowd.

Everybody in the 76ers team underperformed and the team had an underwhelming game. Their star man, Joel Embiid played poorly by his standards scoring only 20 points.

James Harden looks way off the mark as well. He could only manage 15 points. After the game, his teammate Embiid had a bit of advice for ‘The Beard.’

Embiid recognized that his team is obviously not playing well since the last two games and that includes James Harden and himself as well. Uncharacteristically James Harden was off the mark scoring mere 15 points and Embiid had some advice for his partner in crime.

Joel Embiid on James Harden: “He just needs to be aggressive, he needs to be himself, that’s not really my job. That’s probably on coach to talk to him.”

?That?s not really my job.? said Embiid which pretty much seemed like a ‘taunt’. Although Harden did have a bad game, the whole team also let them down. The fans were fuming, as expected.

People have also blamed Doc Rivers for the recent struggles. Although not much has been lost yet, it looks like a real possibility now that the Raptors might as well go on and win the series. It will be the first time in NBA history if that happens. The team 3-0 up gets eliminated at the end of the series.
