This is a landscape-changing move and makes the 5th-seeded Suns the favorites in the West. While the trade has sent shockwaves around the league, a 12-year-old tweet has resurfaced, which may indicate that Durant will have no problem settling in Phoenix.

Durant has been allegedly dating Cassandra Anderson for quite some time now. While there are little to no details about the couple’s personal lives, they have been going strong. However, this resurfaced tweet from 2011 may get KD in trouble.

Due to the sheer bizarreness of his old tweets, Durant has often been ridiculed by NBA fans. However, one particular tweet from 2011 has resurfaced after his trade to the Suns as it involves “a girl from Arizona.”

On September 16, 2011, Durant tweeted, “I really liked this girl from Arizona and she told me “I’m going thru some stuff”…lol I had to laugh at that one”. After admitting that he liked a girl from Arizona, KD quickly downplayed it. Whether he met this girl during a game in Phoenix or elsewhere is up for debate.
