Before the start of the current NBA season, the Golden State Warriors forward, Draymond Green, had shocked the basketball world. Famous for the fight during practice involving Jordan Poole, Green was criticized by several people around the NBA. A similar incident that took place between NBA legend, Michael Jordan and head coach, Steve Kerr in the 90s continues to resurface after a media personality of ‘The Volume Sports’ called out the above.

The 59-year-old broadcaster’s appalling take, comparing the above two incidents continues to go viral on the internet as fans have come in support of the Bulls legend.

A comparison between Steve Kerr-Michael Jordan and Green-Poole incident?

Founder of ‘The Volume Sports’, Colin Cowherd used his own medium to criticize the former NBA superstar, Michael Jordan. Prior to the start of the 2022-23 season, Draymond Green threw a punch at 23-year-old Jordan Poole. A video of Green knocking out the young guard vent viral on social media. Ever since, there have been numerous takes on the Warriors forward, calling him out for using violence.?

However, Cowherd took a chance to nullify the effect on Green by recalling the incident between Michael Jordan and Steve Kerr from their time at Chicago Bulls. On a similar occasion, the 6x Champion gave the Warriors’ head coach a black eye during a practice session in the 90s. Surprisingly, there were no fines or suspensions from the league though MJ chose violence. Moreover, fans believed MJ did it in a competitive spirit, as the 5x-MVP did not face much criticism.

As the video went viral, the 4x Champion was fined a hefty amount though he did not receive any suspension. Green publicly apologized for his actions for which Jordan Poole forgave his senior. The 33-year-old mentioned he was in a “very very very bad state mentally” which triggered him.?
