LeBron James and Anthony Davis are part of one of the best NBA duos in history. In their first season playing together, the King and the Brow led the Los Angeles Lakers to their first NBA championship in 10 years. Both players were instrumental in the Lakers’ success, as they had respective MVP and DPOY level seasons. But LeBron is an asset to Davis in many other aspects of life.

“(There’s) a couple of friends that I talk to…I talk to (LeBron) a lot,” he said. “He’s very successful on and off the floor. So it’s a very, you know, reliable resource for me…I have people I talk to to get better on the floor, and how I can expand and my brand off the floor as well.”

It is clear that their friendship and relationship don’t just end at the basketball court. LeBron James recruited Anthony Davis to the Lakers to be able to play with him. Davis, who, like LeBron, was a number one draft pick, had been one of the best players in the NBA. But he was stuck on a floundering New Orleans Pelicans team.
