‘Remember That Sh*t’: Suns’ Jae Crowder Engages in Online Brawl With Lakers’ Phil Handy & Draymond Green Over Salsa Dance During Playoffs

In terms of trash talks, the NBA is not as brutal as the UFC, but not as gentle as Grand Slam Tennis. So a little back-and-forth is a tradition. Now, three new names have joined the league of banters in Phoenix Suns’ Jae Crowder, the Lakers’ Phil Handy, and the Warriors’ Draymond Green.

All of this started with the Suns’ playoff quarters against the Lakers where they eliminated the defending champions. Turns out, Lakers assistant coach Phil Handy is far from forgetting power forward Jae Crowder’s comments on his team.

In Game 6, the Lakers lost to the Suns 110-113 in a very close game. In that game, Jae Crowder scored a convincing 18 points and helped Devin Booker’s 47-point performance reach its destination. But things went personal when Jae Crowder mocked LeBron James in the closing minutes. He began salsa dancing on the Staples Center court to mock King James for a commercial featuring him.

This was a result of the Game 3 heat between the two teams. It was the night where Jae was particularly struggling and The Akron Hammer decided to poke the bear in the closing quarter. Take a look –

The one-on-one turned into a 2-on-one handicap match

Now, Jae Crowder is not someone who can take a mocking and stay cool about it. So, the 31-YO poked fun at LeBron James’ Space Jam tweet where he referenced a rabbit holding a gun.

Lakers’ star assistant coach Phil Handy could not see all the disrespect on Bron’s name and recently reacted to this. However, he was not the only person reacting as the Warriors’ Draymond Green soon joined the party with his own sarcasm. Take a look at the handicap fight where Jae refused to drop guns.
