According to reports, Carmelo Anthony has just one season remaining in the NBA as he turns 39 next season. In addition, there are rumors he wants to spend his last year with the New York Knicks.?

Ian Begley of SNY said the New York Knicks can be a great place for him to settle down. As he was discussing this, he mentioned that there wasn’t any valid information that he heard that said it could be done.?

The Knicks have been very active this off-season making changes to their team. It appears they are getting ready for next season after extending Mitchell Robinson and signing Jalen Brunson from the Dallas Mavericks.?

Begley added: ?My understanding at least, going back more than a year now, is the idea that if Carmelo wanted to come back and especially have his final year in the NBA here, my understanding is that was on the table, and I haven?t heard anything about that being off the table.”?
