However, he squashed all the hopes of the teams looking to recruit him. Multiple sources confirmed that KD has retracted his trade request and he will be continuing with the team. Interestingly enough, Durant is already scouting for players who he wants the team to sign.

According to reports, the team will be looking to sign a veteran who spent the last season with the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James. It is none other than Carmelo Anthony.

Melo is currently a free agent and it seems Brooklyn can be one of his potential suitors. A report read, “And if they wanted to appease Durant, they could bring in Carmelo Anthony, a move he’s wanted them to make.
