“Richarlison Is Way Bigger”: Former Lakers Star Calls Out Lebron James’ Rare “Appearance” at FIFA World Cup as Fans Troll

Published 11/25/2022, 10:56 AM EST

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is making all the headlines despite being sidelined due to injury. Recently, when Cameroon took on Switzerland in the FIFA World Cup, James could be seen taking to the field, or so it seemed.

It wasn’t LeBron himself of course. Rather, it was Bryan Mbeumo, a Cameroonian player who looked just like the Lakers superstar. Former Lakers star Kyle Kuzma was also dragged into the debate as fans compared him to Brazilian star Richarlison. However, the comparison turned ugly as fans roasted Kuzma on Twitter.

Bryan Mbeumo of Cameroon was all over the news recently. An in-game photo of the forward sent shockwaves across all social media platforms as he looked quite like four-time NBA champion LeBron James.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar himself acknowledged the comparison. Taking to Instagram, he wrote, “I mean I got work to do in other places too!”

This viral post was also acknowledged by Kyle Kuzma. Interestingly enough, the former NBA champion was compared to Brazilian star Richarlison.

Kyle Kuzma certainly wasn’t expecting that kind of reception to his post on Twitter.
