A few days back, Kenny Atkinson agreed to a four-year contract with Hornets for the head coach position. Although before the contract could have been signed, he has pulled out as per Bleacher Report. Now Charlotte, along with the Utah Jazz are the two teams with no head coach.
What does it mean for Charlotte?
The NBA draft is around the corner, and it will be crucial for the Hornets. They have 3 different picks and 2 of them are in the top 15. Having no head coach could turn out to be detrimental.

Hornets failed to qualify for playoffs this year and they don’t have a strategy as of now to rebuild a team. In their search to replace James Borrego, who was fired in April at the end of his fourth season, the Hornets had spoken to a number of other candidates. Charlotte had been keeping an eye on Darvin Ham, Mike D’Antoni, and Terry Stotts.

I would never hire this man as a head coach. Someone who isn’t willing to go out of their comfort zone can not be a leader
