Tracy McGrady was one of the toughest competitors in the NBA. In addition to his seven NBA All-Star appearances, he has won two NBA scoring titles and the NBA Most Improved Player award in 2001. A member of the NBA since 1997, he set some really high standards at that time.
Known as one of the best shooting guards in the league. McGrady has made his name not just through his basketball skills, but also through his business acumen.

Recently, he described one of the investments he made in an interview. Rockets legend spent $19 million on an 11-seater private jet from his massive $75 million net worth. The Dassault Falcon 2000 was the jet McGrady bought.
‘T-Mac’ was in the limelight from a very young age. He got a sponsorship deal with Adidas worth $12 million in high school. This was a big deal for a teenager. The journey that he took in his professional career gave him the fame and money he needed. The hard work he put in and the skills he displayed on the court led to his success.

They talked about when he got into ABCD Camps and was known as the best high school player in the country. Moreover, he talked about the contract he got when he was in high school. He discussed his experiences going up against Vince Carter in the dunk contest, as well as many other topics in the podcast.

In his interview, when the interviewer mentioned a very expensive purchase McGrady made McGrady explained it by saying: “I had a Falcon 2000, it was a corporate jet probably one of the best traveling jets that you can have like an 11 passenger. It was a lot. It was $19 million.”
After that, he explained how he had a business manager whom he assigned to structure it according to his preferences. As part of the explanation, he emphasized how specific he wanted it to look, like explaining the crazy experience that he had at that time. Then he mentioned how much his children enjoy going on the jet, having a great time as a family.
