Rockets Star Reacts To Stephen Curry Ignoring His Intimidation Tactics Mid Game vs Warriors: “At The End Of The Day, It’s Gonna Better You”

Stephen Curry and The Golden State Warriors took on the Houston Rockets on Monday. They are having a hell of a season and were then on a 5 game winning streak. Meanwhile, the Rockets were on a 3 game losing streak and were hoping to end it.

The Warriors won the game 122-108, stretching their win streak to 6. It was a close game till halftime, but the Warriors took over and kept the lead till the end. The Rockets cut the lead to 4 but Warriors made timely shots to keep them at bay. Curry had a monster game as he ended with 40 points,9 assists and 7 threes. This ended a poor run of form for him, as he has been struggling for a few weeks now.

There was an incident in the game which caught everybody’s eyes.In the third quarter, Kevin Porter Jr. was called for a foul for holding Steph Curry. He didn’t seem to agree with the call and let the ref know about it. After that, he stared down Curry and tried to intimidate him. But Curry didn’t seem to be bothered, in fact, he didn’t even look at him.

KPJ reacts to Stephen Curry ignoring his intimidation tactics

He was asked in his post game interview about what happened and why he did it. KPJ replied ” I feel like im getting more and more respected, how I compete and I’m not afraid of anyone or any talent.And uh,I like playing against Steph..At The End Of The Day, It’s Gonna Better You.”

He asked for a few pointers for Curry at the end of the game. He says, “Actually, I went up to him and asked him for some pointers. You know, being a MVP, first unanimous one, like that’s someone I can learn from.He’s the same position as me.”

KPJ later went on Twitter to applaud Curry for being unresponsive to the tactic. He said he was competing against the best and Steph is gonna be Steph. KPJ had a good game ending with 17 points but it was Steph who stole the show and showed everyone why he’s one of the favourites for League MVP.
