Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most recognizable names outside basketball. His distinct size made him an NBA superstar. He was one of the most dominant big men in the history of the league. Shaq’s accomplishments have been noted time and time again and he is part of mainstream pop culture.

He once had his pies in everything: basketball, acting, and rapping. It made him popular everywhere, hence it is no surprise that sitting presidents also used him to send some messages. Former President Barack Obama is one of them. He holds a special place in the heart of the African-American community. Obama had widespread support in that demographic and Shaq was no exception.
